The coaching staff

My sixth project is a record of the Raiders' coaching staff from 1970-present.

This is based on my media guide collection, so there may have been some midseason changes not reflected.

Also, I've done my best to show the assistant slots consistently across the years, although there are changes over the years. (For instance, what was once called "offensive backfield" I've listed as the more modern "running backs," although some coaches with the former title may have coached quarterbacks as well.)

The starting lineups

My fifth project is a log of the Raider starters from the team's inception in 1960 through 2005.

Information prior to 1965 is sketchy due to my lack of resources, however. Thus, the list of starters runs from 1965 to present, with some (regrettable) holes in the '60s.

Consider this project ongoing.

Trading Places

My fourth project is a log of the Raiders' trades from 2002 to present, including a breakdown of the heralded "Gruden Trade" of 2002.

The European allocations

My third project is a compilation of the Raiders' allocations to the World League of American Football and NFL Europe since the rebirth of the spring developmental league in 1995.

The lineups, 2002-2005

My second project is a compilation of the Raider lineups from 2002 through 2005, game-by-game and player-by-player.

The "Unofficial Raiderfans.net Roster"

My (unintentional) first project is the creation of what I hope is the ultimate Raiders roster.

For the current list of players, including measurables and statistics, go to Raiderfans.net and see my Unofficial Raiderfans.net roster.

The current version is version 3.5 for the 2005-06 offseason/preseason. The work I've put into this and other Raiders rosters over the past several years was the genesis for the idea to do more.

Welcome to the new RRP home page!

To my fellow Raiders fans:

In an ongoing effort to bring you the best Raider information possible, in the most coherent way possible, I've shifted the main page of the Raiders Research Project from my own Web space - and thus my own limited HTML abilities - to the popular Blogger site. All the files on the previous site, and those I create in the future, will be on my own Web space, as before, and linked from here.

Please feel free to comment and/or offer suggestions on the files on their appropriate blog posts. I welcome all feedback.

This site is not officially affiliated with Raiderfans.net, but was created with that great Raiders fan and media site in mind. The RF.net thread about the Project is here.

I hope you find this information useful to you. Enjoy!
